Sorrows everywhere
Happiness nowhere
Children crying
Mothers defying
The situation that derails

Are we the brothers, the one and THE same?
Are we the children, of Adam and Eve?
Can’t we be brothers for peace to prevail?
Can’t we be brothers for you and me?

Nowhere is there peace
Brothers are killing brothers
For euros and dollars
How have we become cruel?
For getting more fuel
Mothers are ruined, fathers are lost
in the end, when nothing we’ve got
Everywhere war we seize

Are we the brothers, the one and THE same?
Are we the children, of Adam and Eve?
Can’t we be brothers for peace to prevail?
Can’t we be brothers for you and me?

Yes, we are the brothers, let’s be one and THE same
Yes we are children of Adam and Ewe
Let there be victory of love and peace
Let all the wars be CEASED
Let’s be human, for our children’s sake
Let’s be brothers, as we are made

Love at first sight...

Saw you first time
My heart said you’re mine
Was dreaming of you, day and night
Screaming and shouting for you
Singing n chanting, telling the world
That you’re mine

Cause it was love at first sight
And I knew it was right
Cause I felt you on my side
And I wanted to take you for a ride
Cause it was love at first sight

My life was never the same
It changed as you came
Now I'm no ordinary man
Just wandering as I can
I have a purpose and it's to make you mine
Pray God, to make it all fine
Screaming and shouting for you
Singing and chanting, telling the world
That you’re mine

Cause it was love at first sight
And I knew it was right
Cause I felt you on my side
And I wanted to take you for a ride
Cause it was love at first sight

Najam Introduced Atif to Butts

For all you guys, who don't know it was Najam Sheraz who introduced Atif Aslam to the Butts. Here is Atif himself saying that:

Atif on to his next album by MAIRA FAYYAZAtif has got a lot up his sleeve for his fans in the coming months. These days he is working on his new album. Besides, it appears that he has gotten over the controversy that his song, 'Woh Lamhay' generated between Atif and Jal group, both claiming the composition and lyrics. In an exclusive meeting with The Nation Plus, Atif said that it was well-known Pakistani pop singer Najam Sheraz who introduced him to Mahesh Bhatt. "People are just trying to imitate my work which they can't, properly," he said, "Thanks to an inferiority complex, they are trying to degrade me by saying that I've stolen their song. I don't have to steal something which is already mine." Jal had been provoked into announcing that they would lend ten songs to Mahesh Bhatt from their next album. When asked about the same, Atif said, "I am waiting for that time to come. It's easier said than done."Regarding his upcoming assignments, Atif said that he was due on an international concert tour in July after which he would start working on his next album. Besides, Atif said that he was also committed to his MBA studies. In reply to a query, he said, "My entrance in the music world was a coincidence, but later it became my passion. I didn't come into this to earn money. I wanted to build my career in the business world and would leave music as and when I felt was the right time," he said.Regarding his experience in India he said, "During my stay in India, I noticed one thing that they know how to respect the artistes regardless of their nationality."About the latest trend of remixing golden oldies, Atif said that he had never drawn any lines for his passion, "Perhaps I will think about remixing later, I don't see much scope for this in our country."Due to the commercialisation of music, there is no genuine music at all being produced. By genuine I mean, classical-based."
